We took our 9 week old puppy in because he had an outer ear infection (just one ear, not both). Vet put him on Clavamox for 7 days. The infection looked like it was clearing up (and it was looking alot better), but I could tell after about 5 days that the infection was still not completely gone and we notices a few more red spots. We finally got in to see the Vet again and she started him on GentaVed topically. We have just started this tonight.
Anyone have any experience with Ear Infections? The Vet is sure it is not a yeast infection (does not have a bad odor). If this does not seem to clear it up, I guess the next step is to biopsy the ear and go from there.
