Eagle Pack Salmon/Sardine/Anchovy

Hey everyone...in light of all the food recalls, I'm sure we've all been suspicious... Eagle Pack has assured us their food is not affected, however 2 15lb bags we purchased (separately) had a defect more minor in nature. It seems as though too much "probiotic" was added, turning the food "white-ish" in color and masking it's (usually very evident) fishy smell. I was assured many times there was nothing wrong with this, HOWEVER we came home one day to find our (very housetrained) boxer had soupy-poop all over our bedroom...which also happens to be the only room with carpet :( anyways, just in case anyone else came across this, you may want to get a new bag. ps. Eagle Pack did supply us with a voucher to replace the food....but not the carpet....

we transitioned molly from ol'roy to eagle pack without any problems..but i guess you never know..i try to give her mostly kibble that has chicken ...i don;t know if that makes a difference..But it seems to agree with her

I use this food in my rotation and had the same thing happen to me once. I opened the bag and immediately knew that something was off with the food. I took it back, got a refund, and bought a different brand. I've used the eagle pack ssa since then with no problems though.
