Eagle Pack dog food

I was just wondering who uses this dog food. At the boarding/grooming kennel I work at this is the dog food they use for the dogs and that they sell as well. I was thinking about maybe switching to it from Canidae but right now I am using Purina Dog Chow because I haven't been able to go to the place I get Canidae at. I really love Canidae though so I don't know what I want to do!

I tried this and although it gave firm stools there were a LOT of them I tried both the original and the holistic. On the holistic the stools were a lot softer but still she pooped a lot. I like the food personally but it didn't work well for her. Her fur also got a bit dry and brittle on it but every dog is different, yours does well on Canidae, mine didn't. My neighbours have two boxers and feed Purina dog chow and have all their lives, they are now 6 and 7. They won't consider another food. On the other hand I know of people who use the Eagle Pack and it works great for them. Just depends on the individual dog I guess.

I agree. I know a man who fed the crappiest kibble to his girl and she lived to be 14 and was going strong right to the end. I obsess and lost my last sweet girl at three years old :( This man said meticulous breeding first and then worry about everything else-I never forgot it. My guys have thrived on Timberwolf so I just stick with it now. I think you find what works and that is different for every dog
