E-mail attachments??

I just got an e-mail from a trusted source....
When I click on the attachment I get a message saying:

"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action, create an association in the folder options control panel".

Well, I figured out that it was sent as an .xls file which is from an Excel Spreadsheet. I don't have Excel but I still have other programs that should be opening this. Any ideas?

If you right click on the attachment there should be an option to "Open with..." A list will pop up of all of the programs on the computer. Click on one that should open it.

This may help since it came in an email you should be able to right click and do a save as: then save it to your computer, from that point go to the location of the document and right click and do a open with:
