Quite honestly, I am sure trying to breed a new type of dog is not the reason for this mating. SHE HAS NO CLUE ON HOW TO CARE FOR HER DOGS! Truly, she admitted it was a mistake but hopes to profit off of it!

San Antonio is currently going through a major crisis with our Humane Society. The manager of all the pounds in San Antonio was recently demoted for the unethical way they were putting animals to sleep. They were gassing them, even the young pups and kittens. Workers admitted to running out of the room as soon as the gas was turned on to escape the screams. This city currently destroys more animals than any other city in the US and it is not going to ever get better with idiots breeding this way! Our pounds are bursting at the seams with the number of animals here. I am sure she has no care for where these pups will end up and if they will even make it through their first year! She knows I visit the pound every weekend to walk dogs or pet cats, clean cages etc and still she doesn't think beyond $...I hope her dog is not pregnant, as I am sure she will not get the proper care for it and that she also does not care for her own dogs welfare!

Sorry, I am jumping off my soap box! I could not say anything to her since I am her manager other than walking away clearly letting her know I don't want to talk to her about this subject. I really had to get it off my chest. Thanks for listening!

Honestly, guys, I was only being tongue-in-cheek when I made my post about the new "breed." I'm sure she didn't have any plan, other than no plan at all. I will say that I truly think a lot of people breed poodles with other breeds just so they can say "OODLE" or "DOODLE" or "NOODLE" and try to make some $$ off of ignorant people who just HAVE to have the latest "thing." Do not underestimate the intelligence of the average person - didn't PT Barnum make some comment in that regards?

Of course it was a completely negligent failure to be responsible on the part of Dora's co-worker that resulted in this breeding. I didn't mean my feeble attempt at humor to move the thread in an entirely different direction.

i dont really get the whole point of mixing all these dogs with poodles i mean pretty much they are mutts.. if u want a mutt why dont you just go to a shelter and get one there?? .. you wont pay as much for one and your saving a dogs life too!

Sorry but I have to disagree! I think this woman is stupid AND ignorant!! Ya...she's ignorant to the breed she owns firstly, as she wasn't even sure of the breed, BUT she's one of those stupid people that think it's just ok to profit off a mistake without a care about the health and future of the pups. It's like "Oh well"! She's also stupid for even letting this happen in the first place. If her dogs were not fixed...then WATCH them for crying out loud!! That's what a responsible owner would do! She is not only in need of educating herself to the growing #'s of unwanted dogs that are filling the pounds...or how bout just plain ole education on pet ownership and HER responsibilities as an owner...but I also believe she needs a lesson in ethics and compassion because obviously she does NOT care what happens to this pending litter...as long as she makes a profit! Correct me if I'm wrong, but is that not a BYB?? Sorry if that seems harsh, but the truth often can be!
Dora...I agree! You got one dumb co-worker on your hands! Drink plenty of coffee...take asprin daily when working with her...look at your babies pic on your desk, and thank God that their momma is as smart as she is! :D

I believe that she is just plain stupid. I think that everyone out there knows that there are dogs, puppies and cats and kittens being euthanized everyday in shelters because there are not enough homes for them to go to. Consequently that makes her stupid or ignorant instead of uninformed. I disagree with Zeke123 on this, admit it she is stupid she has got to know what this has created, more pups to go to a shelter. I posted not long ago about a boxer breeder (BYB) breeding boxers and them living in deplorable conditions. I drove by their house the other day and there is another sign hanging out on their mailbox and this one said Free to A Good Home Boxer Beagle Mix puppies. Can you imagine? When I was there a few months ago I was looking at the pups (curious about them and their living conditions) they had a little puppy there that was all white with black spots named Dottie. She said the beagle mommy had her and wouldn't nurse her anymore. She was adorable, but I mentioned then that she looked like she had boxer in her as she was very muscular looking. She said no that she was just that way, but in a muddy, ugly old kennel out under trees that you had to lift the branches to see what was in there, was two male boxers, father and son and guess what? Yes a female beagle. This makes me so angry, it has to be difficult for a beagle to breed with a male boxer and then to have to deliver these puppies. She lets her dogs breed every heat cycle, the mother boxer was only a year older then Shakira, which would make her around 2 and she had already had a litter before this litter and maybe two. Some people~~Yes Mama_Zookeeper your co-worker is stupid and ignorant and definately not in the boat alone.
