Dude.... Rosie STINKS!!

Rosie is now 5 months old and has been on Beneful food the entire time. I have no idea how good this food is, but she has gained weight perfectly! She is extremely and beautifully proportioned. As with all Boxers, she's had a bit of a gas problem. But it was maybe once or twice a day before that she would clear the room. Lately.... she is a walking stink cloud.

Can anyone recommend a food for pups that might help with the "smell". It's a bit gross, but I don't mind the actual farting, just the stink that follows.

I've read in previous posts that some people recommend food without grains, but the next post would say that grain free food didn't help.

What about probiotics for dogs?

Is it a digestion issue? She doesn't whine or act like anything is bothering her.

The first thing to do is to change the food. Beneful is not very good food. :( You could check it out on Dog Food Analysis - Reviews of kibble. I would recommend that you feed at least a four star food. Grain free food helps with the gas in most dogs. Probiotics also help in some dogs, but not all. Nothing really works for everybody. You could also try a adding a tablespoon plain natural yogurt to every meal.

The first step would be to change to food. Feed the best that you can afford.

i was going to say all that .... after some trial and error we ended up with taste of the wild - the venison & bison formula ( yellow bag ) works the best with sam ( the other 2 gave him gas & awful bad breath. its a 6 star food 22.00 bag last me 2 weeks -
