Dropped my baby off for his neuter this morning

Hi. Just wondering if you all could send some good vibes to my little one this morning. I just dropped Brutus off at the vet for his neuter. I'm sure he will be fine, but this is just the first time I've left him at the vet since his ear crop and I'm a nervous mommy. I thought he would be scared, but he was so interested by the barking dogs in the back of the office. I was telling him "bye" and he was like "mom, I gotta go see what's going on back there." I love my sweet little guy so much.

Just got the call from the vet. My baby is fine and I get to pick him up in a couple of hours. I feel so bad, but I know it was the right thing to do.

Itspolo-It's hard to drop your baby off for any kind of surgery, but neutering is the best thing for him. It's better for his health in the long run and you don't have to worry about him siring unwanted puppies. I've had all my animals spayed or neutered, and they were all fine within a day or two. It took one of my female cats a little longer to recover from her spay, but I believe that it was because she was older when I had it done. Good luck with chewey and we will send good boxer vibes his way.

Beaumont going to Vet

I am sure all went well! Listen to me being so brave. Beau goes in tomorrow. Would love to have some good vibes as well.

We brought Brutus home last night and he was pretty well out of it. They didn't put stitches in his incisions. I think they used that medical glue stuff. Anyway, a small part of it came open and he bled a little bit all night. I'm going to call the vet this morning to see if I need to bring him back in. I held a bandage over it to try and stop the bleeding, but everytime it slowed down he had to get up and go potty and it broke back open. He's a little swollen too, but the vet tech said to expect that and as long as it didn't get overly large like softball sized, then he should be ok. I asked DH to stay home with him today to keep an eye on him, but I don't know if it will do any good. Last night, I tried to take a break from holding the bandage on him and asked DH to do it. Brutus went nuts and wouldn't let DH near the area. Guess he didn't like daddy messing with his personals. I just hope the bleeding stops today.

Poor Guy

From our family to yours...we send Brutus much love and healing vibes! What a good pup he is. Hope his recovery is quick. We send a hug your way too, I know how hard it can be to watch them not act themselves! He's a trooper and I'm sure he'll be back to chasing kitties in a few days.
