My puppy kind of has droopy eyes. I really don't remember my other boxer having droopy eyes at that age. I was wondering if this is normal. I don't have a good up to date picture of him.

Well, some pups (and adults) just have loose eyelids. It is not desirable, but unless it's extreme, it doesn't usually cause any problems. They usually get worse during teething, and then tighten up again afterward. I'm afraid you'll have to wait until he's close to a year old before you get a real idea of how they're going to be as an adult though.

Jackson is about a year and a half now and his eyes actually were tighter as a puppy... as he gets older, they have drooped a little more... especially when he's really tired!! He's so cute though, and it's no problem, except that i'm constantly wiping them as he has a lot of eye discharge (clear, nothing to worry about).

I guess it just depends on the dog!

My boxer puppy Lexi has droopy eyes and the vet told me that
was one of the boxer traits and that she was in great health. Is
droopy eyes really a big problem?

Nope. As already mentioned above, unless it's really extreme, droopy eyelids isn't going to cause the dog any problems :)

Cassius had droopy eyes as a puppy but he grew into them when he got older. Check him out, as an adult, on the bridge on my gallery. :)

Guinness had pretty droopy eyes when we first brought him home. He is 7 1/2 months now and they have tightened up a bunch since then.

Can this also be a sign of allergies?
