Drooling?

Willis "foams" when he is out playing and all excited... and I don't know how he manages it, but it gets all over his face, so he gets drool eyebrows and random drool stripes everywhere.

He also drooled once watching me eat a popsicle. He was STARING at me the whole time and then I noticed a huge river of drool hanging out of his mouth. He was about 6 months then, haven't seen it since!

Libby drools so bad sometimes it looks like she ate a tennis shoe and forgot to finish the shoe strings. It is so gross. Slimy and really thick. I dont know if it is because she is excited or what!!

This sounds just like Carson. If any kind of food is involved Carson will start the shoe string drool. I just get a paper towel and wipe his mouth.

Maddie doesn't drool at all. She gets a little frothy at the mouth if she's been running but other than that, she's dry as a bone.

Owen is totally a dog park foamer ! He drips like a leaky faucet when he thinks he's going to get food, and it's like a waterfall when he drinks :eek: (I feed and water him outside.) He gets spit bubbles when he's excited or there is food around.

I always thought that dog drool was gross; now it is part of my every day life !

I rescued him at one year, so I don't know when it started.

Nitro will have this white foam in his mouth everytime he's playing in the dog park or after a long run... As far as drooling for food he usually drools when he see a banana or an apple... I actually used apple when im training him for recall and im telling you i never seen Nitro moved so fast and sit in front of me so fast on a recall command until i started using apple ...

Yup, Bubba too! I keep a towel in the kitchen for this purpose. He really only drools when he watches you get his food/treats. And if I am lucky enough to catch him after he drinks from his water bowl, I give him a good wipe. If I don't we have water drips across the kitchen floor!

Daisy only drools when she gets excited, and when she does an amazing amount of drool spills out of her mouth often wrapping around her entire head if she is in motion.

I honestly can't remember if I was disgusted at first or not, but now it is simply a matter of fact and I always have a towel near buy... it is part of her charm! LOL

By the by, Daisy didn't drool at all until she was almost 1 year old.

Rocky only drools when he is tempted by food. He does get a little foamy when he is playing hard. He loves to go drink from his water bowl them lay his wet face on my lap or couch to wipe dry...very annoying but makes me laugh!

don't be afraid of the foamy stuff it's nothing compare to their gas ... their gas can be so deadly and can clear a room in second ...

just my luck today. they both had a face full of foam when they were done playing in the field of tall grass. oh well...
