Drinking from the tub

I feel so silly asking but.... does your boxer or any other dog that you have like to drink from the tub? My Jodi just loves to, if you dont let her in the bathroom while your bathing she just goes nuts. She just drives me crazy when she does this.

Brutus does it when i give him a bath. He'll drink the water i pour on him and then he'll try to lick the water in the tub, even with all the soap suds in it. I'm you silly dog don't drink that. He also likes to lick me when i get out the shower. Must be something about that tub water.

LOL Sounds like Ellie! She drinks from the tub when she's having a bath and she also puts her front feet on the bathroom vanity and drinks from the tap when we turn it on for her.
Then pees all over the house because she over did it! oops!

Yep mine love drinking from the tub too especially if there are bubbles in it. They then lie in wait til you get out then try and lick you to get more bubbles off you.

Oh Yes

Gunny will try and drink while taking a bath, though I try and stop him because of all of the soap.

Now, while I'm in the shower, he will stick his head in the curtain, and lick the sides of the tub, the shower curtain, my leg, etc. It's kida funny. He doesn't particularly like taking a bath, but he'll literally get soaked trying to lick the tub while your in the shower.

Same with Buddy. When it's his bath, he wants to be out of the tub. But if it's my bath, he wants in. He licks bubbles, my body wash, shaving cream and even tooth paste if he can reach it. He puts his paws up on everything since my BF showed him to watch me in the mirror. Now, he moves me out of the way to get in front of the mirror. He'll drink from the faucet also.
We have amusing dogs. Don't we?

Are you guys boxers good about taking baths?? Brutus was bad the first time, he was trying to get out everytime i turned around. Now he stays as long as i make him think i'm watchin him.

No. Buddy doesn't fight me and he isn't scared. You can just tell he doesn't care to be in there. If I let him go, he jumps out. I normally have my BF help me and we get it done really quick.

Kita too! She'll drink the water if she is getting a bath and also if someone else is taking a bath. Same with the shower, we have glass doors on our shower, so she can't move them like a shower curtain, she bumps her nose against the door until I open it. Sometimes she'll lick the side of the shower and sometimes she just makes sure I'm still in there.

I always make sure the toilet seat is down...you never know when they might decide to try that out next..eww
