I second everyone else’s opinion. You really are over reacting. Worms are a little gross but it’s unbelievably common. Also keep in mind that it’s not transmitted all that easily. Although technically it can happen it’s pretty unlikely.
Anyway if you’re that big of a germaphobe you might want to re think having a dog. They do all kinds of gross stuff. At least twice a month I find my female parked in the middle of the yard with a look of horror on her face. When I call her to me and she won’t come I always know what the problem is. She gets what we call “hangers on” which is basically a piece of poop hanging out of her butt that she cant pass because its stuck to a piece of grass, hair, string, or something else she shouldn’t have ingested. She refuses to move until I remove the scary thing that’s “chasing” her. I have to get a paper towel and pull it out of her anus and throw it away. Of course I think its gross but the look on her face is all it takes for me to want to help her. Will you be willing to do the same?
