Hi, My husband and I got our first boxer about 2 weeks ago. Haley is a 10 week old fawn female. She is one of the best dogs I have known. She is very calm and loving. The only problem is when we put her in her krate she does her business in it. Does any one have any suggestions to stop this? My husband left her out today and she did her business outside, he was gone an hour and when he got back home, she had pooped again and it was all over the krate...... HELP!

...how close was the poop time to feeding time? I've found the best way to avoid this is to get them on a consistant feed and pee/poo schedule. When they are this young it may take a while for them to grow into a schedule but keep working on it!

We try to feed her at night. The vet told us as long as she's not looking for food it's okay. She goes 5 or 6 times a day which is probably normal but I always thought they didn't poop in their krates.

Thank you for all your feedback! I also borrowed a smaller krate from a friend. I'm thinking maybe the kennel was too big for her right now.
