I am so upset this morning I don't know what to do. I have 2 boxers Rocky is 2 and Cookie is 1. Cookie is the new addition we got her about 2 weeks ago Rocky we've had over a year and a half. Everything was going good until this morning...

I woke up this morning and went about my usual routine. I use the restroom start my coffee then take the dogs out. As I'm starting my coffee I hear a strange sound, I turn and look in the living room to find Rocky peeing on my couch. He is up on the couch with his front legs on the top looking out the window peeing. I, of course, shout for him to stop and quickly get them outside to finish their business. After cleaning the couch I head downstairs to take a shower. I get out of the shower and find a present on the basement floor. Rocky had pooped. How do I know it was Rocky and not Cookie, well moms just know(especially when it comes to poop!). I clean up the poop and finish getting ready for work.
Allready running late I take the dogs out for a quick romp in the back yard before leaving for work. Just as I'm ready to get them back in the house a jogger comes out of nowhere. Well this jogger looks like a lot of fun, Cookie takes off after her with Rocky in toe. I take off after them yelling and screaming. It doesn't take long for them to lose me. I run back to the house grab leashes, treats, and car keys. By the time I catch up to them they had realized the jogger wasn't going to play with them so they ditched her and were playing with each other in the field. As it turns out I didn't need the leashes or treats I stop in the middle of the road get out of my car and yell "Rocky Cookie COME!" they come running like 2 little good dogs are supposed to do and jumped in the car. I'm, so embarrased by now and don't want to come face to face with the jogger so I pull a 3 point turn in the middle of the road and speed home.
I am just so frustrated at all the events of this morning and don't know where it all came from. Rocky has been potty trained for a long time and we haven't had a problem with Cookie in that area since we got her. I've also been working with them on "come" non stop. They have been doing very good. Needless to say, we're going back to leashes for a while which sucks-they do love to burn around. The jogger I can understand but not the peeing and pooping! It has me thinking it was a mistake to get Cookie. She is a darling and I allready love her to death but this stuff didn't happen when it was just Rocky.

I know the pain that you're going through as I went through it myself several years ago. We had my female, Jazz first and had no potty issues with her. Then we decided to get my male Jesse. He was an un-neutered 1 yr. old at the time and the same age as her. I went through about 2-3 weeks of hell as they both went through an adjustment period and wondered if I'd made a huge mistake. He was marking in the house, peeing on the couch but getting him neutered soon after helped with that. They would get so excited when playing indoors that she would just pee wherever as they were running. He pooped in the house when left alone. One episode especially got me so upset and brought me to tears. They were chasing each other in the house and she literally peed all down the hallway and into two bedrooms. It took me forever to clean it up. At first I just made sure that they went outside more often to do their business. After several weeks of their adjustment period and the novelty wearing off, this eventually got better - thank goodness. Keep in mind too that the dynamics have changed and now they are a pack. I would keep them on leashes for a while until you are sure that they have a good recall. From what I've seen the pack mentality brings about more confidence and they may try things they haven't done before. I know it can be frustrating but try to hang in there - it will get better! Good luck!

I am convinced that they get together and plan these things...
"ok...now what can we do to TOTALLY drive mommy nuts today?""ooooh ooooooh I know! first i'll pee, then you poop, then we'll go chase some lady, then we can play in the park!"
"good plan, get into place!!!"
