doggy day care

I take Luke several times a week. He has extreme seperation anxiety that we have been unable thus far to control. I work out of my home, but have to go to meetings (usually several days per week). When I go, I drop him off at day care. He loves it and they love him! I pay $20 for a full day and $10 for a half day. Even though it is expensive, it is far cheaper and less stressful than the surgeries I have had to do because he causes himself harm when left alone:(

Most of them around here (north side of Indianapolis) are $20-25/day. There is a new one that is really nice. My husband and I have a grooming shop, but we offer daycare also and we charge $10/day. I would feel guilty charging more than that!! Our boxers come to work with us most of the time, but sometimes we'll leave them home one or two days a week. Our silky and our bouvier puppy come every day. Our dane rarely goes, because he would rather stay at home and lay around!!! The funny thing is there is a 1 year old deaf boxer and she comes every day. I think she has to!! She is hilarious! We have 4 different sections, divided by 1/2 walls, and she will jump over the gates into different sections when she's ready to play with a different group of dogs. She looks just like our boxers. We have to tie her up when customers come in because she would jump over the counter to say hi to them and it would scare the little old ladies to death!!!!

We have a daycare where I work too. Pearl goes a couple of times per week and is filthy and worn out after. It's $15 per day and some dogs come every day!! Some people bring two dogs even... apparently I'm in the wrong line of work 'cos I could never afford that.

Bugzy just started going every Thursday and he loves it. It's $15 for 7-7 and they are open 7 days a week. She also boards and they are never locked up. She keeps them all loose in her house if they stay overnight. Her website is so cool and she has a webcam too so I can check on him during the day. They have an acre to play and all kinds of play equipment. Bugzy totally loves it.

Mya goes to daycare every Thursday from 7am to 4pm. She loves it and knows when it is Thursday morning!

Where does Mya go to daycare? Just curious. I am in Western PA (Beaver County) and was looking to get Daisy more socialized.
