Dog Talk

I have a 5 month old male boxer. He is my pride and joy, but I have noticed something about him that I am curious to see if any of you noticed about your boxers. Do your boxers talk? Not like words, but kind-of a howling/bark noise when they want your attention or just want to play? He does this to our other dog also, Koda (the boxer) will stand in front of Jojo (our mix breed) and just talk and talk and talk. It is the cutest thing ever...

Am I alone here or can you all relate!

Mine doesn't do it much, but my parents' boxer does. It's so funny. You can practically have a conversation with him!

It is so funny...he gets so excited and can just go on and on...I love that about him, but I wasn't sure if it was normal or not...

Austin talks. Mostly to his Dad. It sounds more like he's telling him off tho! Moaning and grumbling and all those crazy sounds Boxers make!

Kona talked mostly to her dad or her cat. It was pretty cute. It didn't happen very often. My friends boxer Luke is always talking though.

I have heard that it is more of a male trait. I guess I will find out when my sister gets here with her two boxers. A female and a male...I guess we will see what kind of conversations they can stir up...It should be very intertaining.

I don't know if it is more a male trait because Heidi is a major blabber mouth!! She is constantly getting in our faces so she can have a talk with us! I love it!

Rosco loves to talk back. He also talks to my other boxer to get her to play. She is starting to talk more when he does.

My female who is a yr and 3months does this if she is not getting her way!!! and if talking isnt working she will than start stomping her foot on the ground too.

My male boxer who is 6months doesnt talk to the humans alot but will talk to my female on occassion, but she is the one with the real attitude!! go figure!!
