I agree...there's nothing wrong with your pup sleeping with you. I initially had my Buster when I first got him in his crate at night and after a month or so moved him to my bed to sleep at night. It was great and I liked it and he was so sweet, but he did become territorial over the bed (or maybe it was me) and acted as if it was "his" bed, to the point of not allowing my kids to get on the bed with me if I were sitting there. If they did manage to get on the bed and try to sit next to me, he would squeeze himself in between us. What was the final straw was after he had peed on my bed (while still sleeping...apparently) several times. That was it. After that I stopped him from sleeping on my bed unless I invited him, but he usually won't get up on my bed now if I'm there. It's only when we're gone that he makes himself comfortable there (and I don't mind that). He also has a fondness for my 18 year old son's bed (also, when he's not there). At this point, I wish he wouldn't act so afraid to get up now when I'm there. There are some nights, I'd actually prefer him sleeping there with me. Good luck in whatever direction you choose.

. But, when my husband comes to bed, Mojo gets up and starts growling and play-lunging at my husband. I thought it was ALL just play, but I'm starting to realize it may not be...I had no idea that boxers would become territorial over a bed! We're going to have to start training Mojo only to come up when invited, now, I think.
