just wanted to know if your boxers have weird friends. What I mean by that is Dante is best friends with my roomates girlfriends poodle, and my friends rottie. Its funny watching them play, its such a strange sight watching them play fetch.

Mason has friends all over the place. At the dog sitters, kids in the neighborhood come over to play with him. I was actually booed by one little boy when I went to pick him up once! He has also made friends with all of my friends dogs, breeds: labs, rottis, huskies, lab mixes, shephards, etc...Sometimes I can't believe how popular he is. I feel like if he could talk, the phone would never stop ringing. :)

Zoes strangest friend would have to be her fur brother Gus (eng cocker spaniel & he is really silly) but she has lots of others, choc lab, chesepeke, pomeranian, yorkie, golden, american cocker & pugs... she even met a Irish Wolfhound, at first she didn't know what to think he was so big but they got along fine : ) There has only been one dog she has met that she hasn't been able to get along with, he was a springer/lab mix that was usually a farm dog & not well socialized-he tried to attack her...we didn't let her around him after that.

We have tons of friends! 2 french mastiff's, a couple of bostons, poodles, german shepards, pugs, chihuahua's, cocker spaniels, not too mention all the mixed breeds. Diversity is the spice of life!

Cute!!

Roxie and Baxter also have LOTS of friends. I have to admit though, they gravitate towards other boxers because they like to play rough with them. Roxie is usually so interested in little dogs, but they scare her and chase her around. Its funny to watch!

Brando's best pal now has to be his 'cousin' Bailey who is a Golden Spaniel. The pair of then run wild when they're together. When they're playing rough Bailey bites Brando's jowls. Brando usually just sits on his head when he gets sick of the biting! ha ha ha!

He also plays with Jake the staffy down the road from us. Brando gets on with most dogs. There's not really anyone he doesn't like - although some of them are un-sure of him - he's a bit too boisterous for some of the older dogs.

my roommate's black lab and (we believe pit bull) mix and shibby get along great. they are the best of friends. they lay around the house until all of us are home and then it's like WWF or UFC in the living room. i swear they do it just to show off. she also gets along great with my dads little terrier mix(it looks like a little 12 lb gray husky), my aunt's boarder collie, our next door neighbor's german shepherd mix and our other next door neighbor's great dane(what a beautiful dog!)

tony and gemma,
is it true that ear cropping is illegal over there in the UK? to me that would defeat the purpose of having certain breeds(i.e. a doberman). although boxers look great either way.

My kids have all typs of canine friends :) The strangest (well, funny to watch playing) is Ruben's friend Tessa - Tessa is a 'Terrier Something x Something Very Tiny". She stands about 4 inches tall, when they really get playing she races in and around his legs and will stand underneath him and bark

Dallas is best buddies with two female dalmations. They are inseperable! I am finding that the larger dogs like to play with Dallas more because of how energetic she can be. (Not to mention those boxing paws can be too much for the smaller dogs.)
