@ my local pet store they sell huge birthday dog bones with a topping that looks exactly like sugar it even has a "happy birthday" saying on it. One of my puppies will beturing one on Monday so I asked the woman if it was sugar or something else on top( Im make a bone cake on my own but I did not want to use sugar). She told me it was called Carib or karrib? Im not sure what it is! does anyone know? or do you have any other suggestions for frosting? I saw plain yogart as one!

It was probably made with carob powder. It is similar to chocolate and isn't toxic to dogs. You can usually find it at the health food store. You could also use cream cheese. :)

Thank you!! Cream Cheese is a good idea too lol I'm sure the two of them would have a ball with that. I'll have to post pictures of the birthday party haha.

I always thought bratwurst was a formed thing like a hot dog? Are you maybe thinking of brunsweiger (sp? I know that isn't right) but it is with the hotdogs and I usually see it made by oscar mayer but there are others. The pups would love it...I even like it on a ritz crackers.
