Dog Food

Okay,

I have been feeding Bailey Solid Gold Holistic (sp) blend because he needs to be on a special low fat diet because he has had pancreatitis and we don't want another flair up. The problem os that he doesn't really seem to like it too much. He eats it fine, but he picks at it for a while. His little sister also doesn't seem to totally enjoy her puppy Solid Gold either.

Does anyone out there know of another type of dry dog food that is good as well as lower in fat?

Any help would be great.

Fats enhance the flavour of foods, especially dry foods.
You could try adding things like sardines in spring water , chicken stock , or some low fat plain yoghurt.

Anything that is low in fat but a bit tasty , will enhance his diet and make it more palatable.

Otherwise a change of brand may be the way to go.

Have you looked into "Wellness" brand dog foods? How about California Natural by Innova?

Pancreatitis

My 3yr old boxer was just diagnosed with Pancreatitis! Im still searching for a good low-fat/low-fiber brand of dog food for him. Have you come across one yet? I've heard that "Wellness" is suppose to be a good option. Thanks!
