Dog Appeasing Pheromone?

anyone tried a product by Comfort Zone that has a 2% appeasing pheromone?

it hooks into an outlet and looks like an air freshener... it is supposed to give off a pheromone that mimics one that a mother dog gives off when she nurses... it's supposed to help with stress and anxiety..

we have had it for about 2 weeks and the dogs go up to it, sniff it, sometimes bark at it or whimper.. has anyone tried it and noticed any differences in their dog?

I have tried it. They say it takes about 3 weeks to work. I personally dont think it did anything. They never even acknowledged it. Lucy was still chewing when left alone, although she did seem to quit drooling so much in her crate dont know if from that or what. some say it works.

I think it worked for us

Hamlet had a problem of excessive drooling when left alone. Once I started putting DAP on the room where he stayed, it reduced considerably, and a couple of weeks later, stopped completely.
It could be said that he got used to being alone, but that's not the case - at that time he would hardly ever be alone.
I hope it works for you if you decide to try - it cuts my heart to think of a little boxer agitated or drooling or pacing along nervously waiting for his people to come back.

No luck with it here

Elvis howled and barked terribly when we first got him his crate, so we went out and bought that 50 dollar air freshener. I don't think he knew it was there. If crating is the problem, just try and let him/her cry for a few nights, they will get use to it. If it is the drooling thing, I can't help you there, Elvis isn't much of a drooler. Best of luck!
