Rogue starts to scratch herself everytime in an attempt to redirect our attention.

It works, coz we always laugh.

She is sooo funny when she does it.

Yup! My Roxy either "talks" back to me or looks in every other direction but me!! You can't help but laugh. I was trying to put sheets on my bed last night and she kept flying up onto the bed and spinning in circles. She did a running jump at one point and slid across the mattress cover. I couldn't help but giggle as I told her to get down (AGAIN!!!!!)! They are so silly.....

Oh yes, my Ali talks back to me and I tell her she is a bold teenager. But I find it hard not to laugh at her which would only encourage her to act out more.

When Harlie gets scolded she put her ears back and looks around trying so hard not to look me in the eyes like Oh oh i hope she doesnt see me sitting here. Chopper hides under the dining room table.

Definitely!

When I scold or get mad at Tre, he looks at me like I'm playing and starts moving his nub back and fourth. By the time I get to the end of my sentence, I can hear the tone of my voice changing to a nicer one.

When I'm furious, he knows it. His ears go back, he gets low to the ground and runs into his crate.

My 18mo Boxer just came home to us on Saturday and we're trying to get him used to not peeing in the house. Every time I scold him and tell him, "No," he does the same thing everyone here is talking about. He'll jump around and wag his tail. It can be aggrevating and cute at the same time.

Beau looks in every direction but at me. It's like he's humming to himself and saying "I can't hear you." It makes me mad but it's so darn cute that I can't stay that way.

That says it all with me & Koa too.

Zoe talks back big time. If I ever say "No" or "Stop" to her she looks up and starts either talking or full on barking at me! It's hard not to laugh at her. I have discovered that disciplining her is not going to be an easy task as she definitely does not take scolding seriously. As for redirecting her - that is a joke too! When she gets something in her head there is NO WAY you can get her focused on something else. If stubborness is a sign of intelligence then Zoe is certainly a brainchild!!! Gotta love em!

The complete opposite!

I wish she did!!! I actually have to be very careful if I discipline Sydney - she is very sensitive and will actually shake if I yell at her. I try to just do positive reinforcement with her - which works great - but of course, I'm human and the occaisonal scold does occur. She makes me feel awful afterwards though...I have to love on her more than usual.

If my husband raises his voice, she runs for cover. If I didn't get her when she was like 3 months old I'd think she was abused by men, but I've come to realize I just have a very big baby on my hands! haha
