Does your boxer "talk" in his/her sleep??

Sometimes I catch Muggsie asleep and she'll be dreaming. All the sudden I'll hear "woof woof" then I'll see her paws moving like she is trying to run while she's lying on her side. I'll look to see if she's awake, but nope, she's still asleep! It's kinda cute. I wonder what she dreams about! Do other boxers do this????? Let me know! :)

Yes mine do the exact same thing, it is so funny, sometimes they will start moving those legs like they are running in their sleep. Athena is my crier, she will have these dreams where she will just start this sad sad whining, we all run to her and tell her its okay baby, just a bad dream. Samson is my growler, he will just start his buzz sound low growl in his sleep, I guess he thinks he is getting the boogeyman. One night he made us all come running in the wee hours because he started yelping in extreme pain, when we got to him, we checked him all over, and realized he was just having a bad dream. Silly Boxers.

 Samson sounds exactly like Siddartha! I've had other dogs who twitch or maybe softly whimper, but Sid is the first one who goes to such extremes. On top of which, of course, he snores as loudly as my husband smashicon

All dogs do that, they are just dreamin away. I'm pretty sure I know what mine both dream of - Sumi dreams of chasing squirrels and Casper dreams that the cat will let him play with her and give her kisses.

Yes, Tina does this too and it looks so funny. Once I even caught her moving the lips and smacking as if she dreamed she was a pup again and was drinking mom-boxer's milk :)

Yes, Dempsey does it too. As a matter of fact he did it last night while laying on the floor next to me on the couch.

I have to disagree with Lisa M. I grew up with dogs and Dempsey is the first one that I can tell is dreaming.
