Mine does that too, she also has this move if your petting under her chin and rubbing pretty good she'll slowly start putting more and more weight and your hand until your holding her head up,

Yep, Sam does that too. He will actually lay his head on anything- my lap, the coffee table, whatever. It is so cute when he does it too!

Just come up to you and put their head on your lap and refuse to move it until you pat them, a lot?! I have never seen another breed do this and Fletcher is famous for it. It is so sweet and I was wondering if it's a breed thing.

I love when Fletcher does this, he is such a sweet, lovey fool. I have honestly never had a dog that was so affectionate. I simply adore him. I have to tell you though the only down side to the face on the lap is the slobber he leaves on my pants leg!!!! Also the dried slobber on my windowsills is sooo attractive!!!!! Oh well he's worth it!

Boxer love

I have 5 boxers. All different personalities. One of my males, Ollie, comes to me if I cry, or get hurt, paws at me and licks me in the face, and leans his face on me to comfort me. I really believes he thinks I am his Mother.They all come to get love and patting on a daily basis.We are so lucky to share out lives with these beautiful souls.

My boy does this all the time and if I dont pat him he starts to woo woo at me untill I do. It is the sweetest thing I have ever seen.

Yyyeeessss! Both of mine do this all of the time. So have just about all the boxers I've ever known. It's almost like their heads are too heavy to hold up on their own. Aren't they great!

Buckeye and Steeler both do this a lot. I love it when they do it at the same time One on each leg it is priceless!!!!!!!!
