Just come up to you and put their head on your lap and refuse to move it until you pat them, a lot?! I have never seen another breed do this and Fletcher is famous for it. It is so sweet and I was wondering if it's a breed thing.

samson is great for this. he has cardiomyopthy and when he can't get his breathing under control he always comes to mommy for help. he just lays his head on my lap and I help soothe him to relax. I don't know if this helps him physically but I know for his peace and calming it helps him and me.

Mine dont do this but it sounds so sweet! I could imagine those big brown eyes staring up at you.

Ronin does it too. He'll sit right next to me while I'm sitting on the couch. Then he'll lay his head sideways in my lap and hike his leg up over my legs. He gives me this "Oooh, I love you....pet me " look. It's just the cutest darn thing.

Harley's the same way, He'll rest his head on just about anything and give you that look......its the sweetest thing in the world!!

Kirby does this too, and I love it! He is such a sucky, and I soak up every minute of it!

Trish, that's sooooo sweet! He knows his mommy can help him when he's not feeling too good. Keep up the good work.

LOL! that's Diesel all the way! He climbs under the table and puts his warm little head on my lap and stays there, just to see if anything drops!

ABBY does this to me whenever I'm lying on the couch watching TV. She'll lay her head on my chest and just look at me, until I either rub her on her head or scratch her ears. Then she is fine and goes about her own business. She just wants that little bit of extra attention to let me know she's still there
