Oh yeah....enter said "Drool Towl"...good for drool wipes and food chunk wipes. He eats, we wipe, he drinks...we wipe...lick...wipe...slurp...wipe...drool...wipe.....mayyyyyybe I'm gonna go eat....nope......maaaaayyyybe take a sip..yep....wipe....sip another lick...wipe....sip...wipe...sip...wipe..."PHARAOH!!! EATHER DRINK IT ALL AT ONCE OR NONE AT ALL!!!" ....wipe.
Repeat process one hour later

My Ethel wiped her face all the time. I first put a sheet on the couch so she wouldn't put yuck all over. However, now I have a washcloth on the shelf where I keep her bowl and I watch her while she eats and then take a warm wash cloth and wipe her face and dry it with her towel. She loves the attention and she hasn't been rubbing against anything after eating since beginning this ritual. I think I read somewhere about commercial food making them itch because of the sticky agents they put in the food . Maybe that is it. Before, though, when I gave her cooked chicken or something more natural she did it also, so? The washcloth and towel thing works for us. Good luck!

We have had our boxer for 4 years and don't know nuthing I guess. What the heck is BARF? We don't feed our dog any people food at all.

Markus does it too. I alway try and wipe his face first. LOL

Oh yes Amy does the same. We can hear the snorting and goings on when she goes berserk rolling and rubbing on the bed. She loves it when we watch her and tickle her tummy at the same time. I think she smiles while she does that *happy time*. This is mainly in the mornings - on the bed > all blankets are used. After dinner etc... the couch is being used (blanket is used/stripped) or she comes and dabs her food on our clothes.

Kes does this too we had a lovely house plant which started to look very sorry for itself we could not work out why until we caught Kes wiping her mush all over it now the plant has gone she buries herself under her bed or pretends to come up on the sofa for a cuddle and sneakily wipes herself on us :( maybe I will keep my jeans clean for more than 5 minutes
