Wearing Collars
I worry alot like most of you about if they get out of the house or dig out from under the fence, but Bandit gets massive itchys and dandruff from his collar so the onlu times he wears it, is if i know we are going to have company, taking him somewhere, walks, or we go up to our Cabin in the mountians, even when i am walking him, sometimes i will take if off oh him and hook it to his leash because it bothers him so much. :(
Magic, well she gets really itchy from hers to, i only put it on her to take her outside, she got like little zits from her collar, i think it was nylon, so i dont put it on her too much.
But all in all, i would say mine hardly ever wear thier's and the chiming of the tags drives me nuts, I worry that something would happen if bandit were to jump the fence and have his collar get snaged on the fence, and i am lucky enought that all my neighboors know him, he has only jumped the fence once and that was after a cat, and it was on the low end of the fence, about 3 feet, and we are getting ready to replace our fence w/ a 6ft'er just to be safe.
