I have a question for everyone. Ok I occasionally start singing and dancing around my dogs, for example when I hear a song on the tv or the radio and they always seem to look at me with that curiousity face like tilting their heads kind of like saying "Has she gone mad?" It used to make me feel all stupid because I assumed they where really thinking I was crazy but then I realized well who can they tell? So I continue to act all weird around them singing/dancing ect. :) Anyone elses boxers act like your the crazy one and not them!smashicon

My husband sings to our boxer Cole AND changes the words to make them boxer appropriate. Cole will tilt his head and sometimes bark like crazy at him. "Like shut up already dad, you are embarrassing me!" (Cole is a teenager right now)

Yea for those of us who love entertaining our dogs!!!

The first time Trixxie heard me singing we were riding in the car together. A great song came on, so of course I started singing. She sat up (she rides in the passenger seat) cocked her head almost 90 degrees and stared at me. After I quit laughing I continued singing. Trixxie must have figured out she couldn't stop it, so she started woo woo'ing at me. I guess she wanted to sing along!

I sing in the car also and Casey will start licking my face and I start to laugh, I never look over to the other cars because they will think I'm crazy too. I dance around her all the time, I do the boxer bump just to get her going. I fine myself acting more and more like a boxer than a person. lol

HILARIOUS!!

i knew i wasn't the only one that did that. i usually start dancing to salsa music and zeus just stares at me for a few seconds. but then he wants in on the action! he'll jump at me and i'll grab his paws and we'll dance around the living room. of course, he's nipping at my hands the whole time, trying to make me let go of him. i guess he's just embarrassed of his momma!!

Arley thinks I am a loon (I know he does)
The only time I get that look from him so far is when I want to trim his toe nails and then he looks at me like I am crazy.

Cooper is SO laid back he could care less about anything so he never gives me that "you are weird" look.

Zeke does that to me as well when I sing or dance. He also does it when he hears strange noises and when we are doing wierd things.

Good I also have to agree that I can be a little crazy around the furbabies! But they love the song and dance act especially if I dance with them. You are right! Who are they going to tell??? HA!

Tigger dances with me. I never taught her to do this, but when I dance around in the living room with my 4 year, my boxer puts her feet on my tummy and "dances" with me too. It is too cute.
