RolenKisses

I wish Rolen would sleep in...he's up at 5:30am everyday even on the weekends! Somedays he ends up taking a midmorning nap around 8:30 and some days no nap. Oh the days when I used to sleep until 7:00am! :)

Millie is still a puppy so I suspect the fact that she has to go out before 7 everyday is a function of her tiny bladder rather than her wanting to get up!! Sometimes if we go to bed late on the weekends, she will sleep in with us (in the bed) until 9 or 10. And then when we get up, she just stretches out on the bed for another 5-10 minutes before getting up. I don't let her linger though b/c of the whole bathroom issue. If we are up, she is up and vice versa to prevent accidents.

Independence

Indy has been a sleeper since we brought him home. Most mornings I get up shower, make lunches, get dressed and ready to leave and I have to pick him up and make him potty. I usually leave the house at 4:30 am so on the weekends if he sleeps until 7am that's late. We usually get up potty, get papers and are back asleep by 8:30 while daddy reads. Any time I feel the need to take a nap I have a partner. He'll pretty much sleep any time I do.

Rise and shine every morning by 5:30am. Thank God they nag my husband to take them out. Then they come back in and sleep on the couch unless my DH tries to lay back down then it is Wrestlemania until he gets up then it is snooze time again.

I consider myself lucky - Sampson is a whatever kind of guy ~ if his dad and me want to sleep in, he's content to be a lazy bum right along with us, and if we're up early, he's up and ready to go too.

Rocky is ready when DH is, bout 5:30, but lately I guess his bladder is getting a little stronger and can wait til almost 7am, Lady on the other hand can go to bed before any of us here in the entire house and wake up last usually about 9pm... dayum, that girl is so lucky she found us... all comfy on DH's side of the room on her bed made for a queen... I wish ppl would just peek my way and let me continue sleeping w/out botherin me... *rolls eyes* she's got it made...

I only wish Moab would sleep in! He's up and ready to go between 5 and 5:30 am, no matter what day of the week it is. He's pretty tied to my schedule though. If I'm up to catch an early flight for a work trip, he's up too. Occasionally, he'll let us sleep till 8 but only on rare occasions.

He's always been an early riser though. As a little pup, he'd wake up every two hours like most others, but once it was about 4:30 am and he was awake, there was no getting him back to sleep until you played for about 45 minutes. Then, he'd pass out but it'd be time for me to get ready for work!

Barkley

Boxer Booster
What a great thread!

Barkley would sleep until noon if we let her, I'm convinced. Jordan wakes up around 7:30 and even if he is already in the bed with us, he gets down, comes to MY side, and paws at me until I lift the covers so he can climb into the crook behind my knees. From there, as long as I stay put, then so does he...what a wonderful morning routine (makes me feel so loved)! Once we get up, regardless of the time, they wander into the office with us to continue their slumber in front of the windows and unless we bother them, they will both snooze there until we rouse them for breakfast and a walk. What life!!!
