It is almost 10 o'clock here and I kinda want to get going on my day's tasks... but Riker won't wake up! LOL, he is glaring at me just like a human teenager would every time I make some noise cleaning.

I wonder if he'll always enjoy a good sleep in? He like to sleep for 12-13 hours a night- is that about on par with your dogs?

Darlin's the same way. She LOVES sleeping in when she's cuddling in bed with me. I think she likes it even MORE when I get OUT of the bed because then she's got the whole thing to herself - along with the WARM SPOT from where I was laying.

LOL! I don't think it'll ever change and I love it that way. They're so human it's funny! I'm the same way on weekends. If you try to wake me up earlier than needed, I scowl at you JUST LIKE THAT!

Mine are usually up and ready to go by around 7am, but this last week or so they're sleeping in till almost 9:30. Oh how I have wished for this to happen, except they need to be more consistant about doing it on the days we are not working so we too can sleep in!

Markus certainly never slept in. He wanted to get up with the daylight, which made it a bit early in the summer. :( Moto fortunately is quite happy to sleep as long as I do, but is always raring to go as soon as I get up.

Our Payton always sleeps in. (as a matter of fact this morning he has finished his breakfast and he's crawled back into bed, folded himself up Boxer style, and is snoring away right now!!! :D)
He's probably one of the laziest Boxers I've ever met.

Unforturnately Dakota is up at 5:30am EVERY morning even weekends and ready to go!!! But around 10:00 am he is down for his mid morning nap...not all of us get to take that nap! Ha! Maybe when he gets older he will appreciate sleeping in more.

Roscoe is ready and rarin' to go at 7am (ugh), but we have found that Blayne will sleep as long as we do. I havent slept in since we got Roscoe, oh how I miss it! Hopefully, Blayne will be able to teach her brother how to be lazy!

Biff is a lazybones too :)

Every morning, he opens one eye and glares at me as I get ready for work. I'm sure he's thinking, "Pleeeease make less noise!"

We have my DH's 2 dogs at the moment, as she is on holiday. They are the total opposite! The first morning, they rushed to greet me as I came downstairs, and Biff joined in. Then he went back to bed, as if to say, "It's only Mom, what's all the fuss about?"

Now the other two dogs are still greeting me in the morning, but Biff stays in bed ! sleepicon

I have to practically pick Chance up and put him outside in the morning before I leave for work. The "King" usually doesn't like to be disturbed before noon and on the weekends it's great, but during the week it's a pain:) Sometimes I just let him sleep and let his Daddy let him out before he goes to work since he works later in the morning than I have to. Oh well, just another one of his many little quirks that we love sooo much ;)

I wish!!! Both Mason and Aspen are up by 7:00AM. What REALLY makes me mad is that they get us up this early on the weekends then after we have fed them and let them out they have the nerve to go back up to bed to go to sleep. They even have the audacity to get peeved if we make noise or disturb their after breakfast nap by making noise.
