Does your boxer sit up like a human in your care??

When we go on road trips, ABBY always sits up in the passenger seat of my pick-up as long, as I driving in traffic. She's my co-pilot and doesn't want to miss a thing. But, when I'm on the highway where there is less excitement taking place, she'll usually stretch out and go to sleep.

Cassius is in the front unless we are both in the car, then he gets the back. He too wears a harness to keep im in place, but he site and looks out the window like a little human Sometimes he rests one front leg on the armrest, it is hilarious

My girl always does this when she is in the passenger seat. I think she also really likes her padded, halter doggie seat-belt because it holds her up. She can lean up against the door but not worry about bracing herself when I stop.
She loves it and I don't have to worry about her. When she is in the back, she usually just lays down.

Boxers are the cutiest aren't they? When Ms. Ali gets tired and there's nothing interesting on the go she'll hop into the back and have a nap - until we slow down and then it's like what's on the go mom - anything intersting to see. They do get so many stares don't they. Some times I get remarks like "your dog has a great life has'nt it" or your dog looks really grumpy or most people just look and stare and shake their heads laughing. When I leave the car for a minute and come back it's boxer kisses time. Don't think you can leave me and come back and not get a kiss!!! One of the reasons I absolutely adore this wonderful breed.

Great post Murp.mm Cody has to sit in the backseat and now with having two prob We'll have to get the separator contraption,( not sure of the name) Layla wants to be in your lap or her head hangin out the window I'd be afraid of her falling out so its never just me ALONE with them in the car

Roxi rides "shotgun" wearing her seatbelt. She hardly ever looks around until we stop. Then, she has to see who is looking at her. If I have to leave her in the car, she sits in the passenger seat (with or without the seatbelt) until I get back.

Bayleigh sits like this in DH's recliner...looks like she is watching tv!

Yesterday, I ran some errands and took Bayleigh with me. She was in the back seat. As I am sitting at a stop light, I notice the people beside me pointing at laughing at my back seat. I glance back and there is Bayleigh, sitting in the back on the passenger side like a human, looking at the people beside of us with an expression on her face that looked like, "Hey, are ya lookin' at me? Gotta a problem?!"

Linus rides in the back seat but is invariably in the front when we return.

The other day I pulled up next to a drop box and jumped out to return a video. I left the front door open and before you could even count to two Linus was right next to me. He was out of the back seat, jumped the console, flew out the driver's side door and was by my side in the blink of an eye. He actually startled me he was so quick!

This too is soooo funny. Ali and I were off on one of our errands. She's sitting in the passenger seat like a queen bee. This guy decides to leave a parking lot and cross right over my lane of traffic. :mad: I looked at Ali and she was looking at me as if to say "what a dumbo". Doesn't he know what precious cargo is this car??? I laughted and rubbed her sweet face and we carried on to finish our chores. I just love my girl to pieces!! She crakes me up.
