Chewy's Mom

Boxer Insane
Ok, Chewy can be such a grump sometimes. It's mostly when he's sitting or laying down somewhere, and either Stella or Daisy infringes upon his personal space. One of the girls might innocently step on his paw or just touch him for that matter, and he'll just haul off and bark/snarl/snap at them. He's especially grumpy in the car. They ride in the back of our SUV, and there's a limited amount of space, but he just has to sprawl out in the middle, and then one of the girls is bound to touch him, and off he goes. Is this typical? Is it just a male thing? Or is Chewy just turning into a grumpy old fart? :(

Myah likes to sleep on the couch under my feet when I'm watching TV. If one of the cats dare to come on the couch with us, she'll kick them. She makes it seem innocent enough, like she's stretching, but I know what she's doing..........

If we ahve people over and somebody is in one of my guys spots they will just sit on them until they move.

Nikki does this too. She's our only furbaby, so she doesn't have to deal with another pet in the family. Anyways, she gets grumpy especially when she's laying down or getting ready to snooze, and Ant ALWAYS gets that uncontrollable urge to give her kisses all o ver her kneck & armpits, LOL!! When he does this too much, she lets out a very quiet low growl. She's never snapped at him or me, but I think she gets ticked off when someone's all up in her face when she's trying to get some R&R. :D

I guess they're similar to us, y'know? They like their space, especially when they're relaxing. I don't know. Hopefully more people will reply to this post because now I'm curious too!

The only personal space issue Jagger has is that he always has to be in MINE. Or my daughter's. Or my son's.... Or the company's. Aw heck, any human will do! So long as they are warm....:D

Completely Boxer Crazy
Trudy gets that way, if she is laying on the couch and i go over to pet her and lay with her and she's not in the mood, she will let out a big long huff, jump off the couch and go sit in the chair with her back toward me...

 My two will just stare at the visitor in their seat, making them feel guilty then start whinging as well

Harry can get that way, especially if he's worried the girls will step on his *jewels*
Hannah is the worst for this!! She will climb on Jed, to sleep on his back and stand on *them* in the process  He's very wary of this now so he usually gives a sigh, gets up and moves to another seat

That is soo true w/Tucker!! Any place is fine as long as he is either laying, sitting, standing on you or by you. His new thing is to lay on Eric and I when we're laying on the couch watching TV, with his head on one of ours!:D

Ozzy really hates if you try to snuggle with your head next to his.
He doesn't growl or show any aggression, he just is uncomfortable, you can tell by his breathing and he will either push you away with his feet or turn his head. Rocky was such a snuggler and couldn't have cared less if you laid top of him  the closer the better.
