does your boxer get more of your affection?

I don't think anyone is saying they aren't being affectionate with their partner. Sometimes my husband does have to take a back seat schedulewise. Thor has to take meds and he is on a strict schedule for those. He is also on a strict feeding schedule that works around the meds. My husband who has his own schedule that varies has caused some conflicts. One e-vet stay made my husband aware of the importance of that schedule. We just work around it.

I don't think anyone was saying they were not affectionate. It's more like having a baby in the house. Its a different affection and My husband by no means is jealous. He teases me but he loves her as much as I do.

To BadAxe's post...I think we're all just joking around. My husband and I have a very loving, affectionate, fulfilling relationship. I love and baby my boxer, like he's a baby.. (however just throwing this in here, he has his boundries and respects his people, ) ... My husband receives a different level of affection. If I squeezed and hugged and pet and kissed him constantly I'd drive him crazy. LOL. But that's not to say he doesn't receive plenty of affection that is more fitting to the love I have for him as my husband, as my partner.

I don't think my boyfriend would want me coming up to him, either, throughout the day to smoosh his jowls, rub his ears, kiss his nose, scratch his butt and smell his feet (don't ask me why, I just like the smell of my boxer's feet) like I do to Gunther.........but then again, I haven't asked him
