Does your boxer ever sit in the corner?

Every once in awhile Ginger likes to sit in the corner of our living room. Is it a "safe place" thing? She will do this when she knows her Dad is on his way home. I find it really cute. I tell her only bad girls sit in the corner and she is not a bad girl.:D

Thats so cute! maybe she does feel safe there. I know my guys always seem to have their fav spots to lay in a room too. My rottie always in the doorways to protect us and Ozy always as close to you as he can

Well, Susie has a variation on that theme. She sometimes sits in a corner and just stares at the wall. I have yet to figure out what she's looking at, but she'll sit there for 10 minutes or so, just staring at the wall.

Go figure!

that is so cute i bet she looks at you as if to say what are you talking about my dog jess lies by the door of the room as if to say your not getting out with her paws on the door or if you go out the room she will go and lie by the door as if to say your not getting back in is it just jess or is it a boxer thing

Pebbles will sit facing a corner, or with her back to us, if we yell at her. I think it's sort of her way of pouting. IN the car, she sometimes tries to climb into the front seat, and if we tell her to get in the back, she'll sit and stare straight out the back window, with her back to us. It's her way of trying to punish us I guess, only we just laugh at her.

Is Ginger under a window? Maybe she can she hear Daddy driving up or sense him walking home. That is sooo cute. Fritzi lays on the couch closest to the front door when her Daddy is due to arrive...that way she is the first to greet him, just the way she likes it
