Does your boxer do this?

I too was wondering if other boxers did this. Brady does, but only when we are playing with him. We jokingly refer to him as our "Boxer Nibbler" (like a doberman pincher)!

LOL!!!!!@ Corn Cobbing Good one there Simba does this as well, We thought it was fleas but its a trait (spelling) Something that some boxer's do and some dont do its not uncommen here in Holland for them to do it go figure they just at some times dont know when to stop on them self .. Just make sure they dont have fleas :eek:

It is common, and is a grooming thing if I'm not mistaken.

I can prompt Indy to do it by doing it to him with my fingers. Quick, tiny pinching with my fingers anywhere on his body will cause him to flea bite on the arm that is doing it to him.

Rocky did the same thing when he was with us. I haven't tried it with Ava, but now I'm curious so I'll have to give it a go with her.

Turbo Nibblin's

Yep, I call that "Turbo Nibblin" and Louie does it when we're wrestling... sometimes he does pinch the skin though and it does bruise and hurt!!!

Every one of my boxers through the years has done this. We call them
"monkey bites". Don't know how we got that name, but it has stuck!

Rocky does this too. It kind of tickles and when he starts we're usually laughing the whole time. He has a habit of doing it on the bottom of our feet :rolleyes:
We call him the "love bug" lovicon when he gets like that

Harley is a nibbler too! He likes to give hugs, I'll kneel down and he comes up to me, sits and leans into me with his head on my shoulder and I'll just hug him... sometimes he'll sit there and instead of putting his head on my shoulder he will nibble at it... it gives me the chills, but its soo cute! I could just sit and hug on him for hours!!!

Katie has always done this too, she nibbles on my arm when i pet her, or if i am giving her a hug she nibbles on my ear or on my bra where the underwires come together (that one makes me a little nervous!) I thought it was a biting thing and will say "Are you biting me?" she stops then and gets a toy. I have tried to discourage this behavior because i thought it was biting, now it looks like it is just lovin' (still wont let her, it scares the kids when she does it to them)

Yes, Muggsey does this too. We also call it corn cobbing. He likes to do it to hubby's neck and to my butt when I'm standing up!!!
