Piper only barks when she wants to play or is getting her food, other than that it's mostly woo woo's.

Duchess barks quite a bit. I think she picked it up from my shih tzu. She normally does it when somebody pulls up in front of our house, when she sees the neighbors cats or when she is playing. We are working to get her to stop doing it so much!

Siren very rarely barks when in the house - but when she is outside and there is someone in their backyard - she barks. She used to bark a lot more - but we did some disciplinary training and got most of that to stop. Her bark is scary - she sounds like she's about 200 pounds and mean as all get out. The neighbor lady complained telling me that she was afraid Siren was going to break down the fence and get her boys. I politely informed her that I was sorry if Siren was barking too much - that I'd work with her on it - but that I'd appreciate it very much if she'd work with her KIDS and get them to stop screaming at the top of their lungs for what seems like hours at a time. She only barked because she thought one of them was being hurt. ARGH! That ticked my husband off even more than me.

Our first two, Rock and Rascal almost never barked. But Indiana is a totally different story. He barks when he's bored, when he sees the neighbor (who encourages Indy to 'talk' to him), when he wants someone to play with him, when he feels a change in the wind...you get the picture. He really likes to hear himself!! We taught him to speak because theoritically it's easier to teach him to be quiet. I say it's a theory because it has been a dismal failure for us. We'll keep working on him.

He also is famous for grumbling when he's walking away from you when given a command he may not feel like obeying but knows he has to.

All in all he is the most vocal dog I've ever had the pleasure of living with. He's great!!!

Austin is a HUGE barker. I sometimes think he just likes to hear himself!

chloe barks if a leaf falls , she is always barking at something which starts maxi off then i have two dogs barking at nothing.

For as big and gruff as Snoop is he barks like, shall I say it?? A castrated male!
Dottie, she never barks. She just whines.

Rolen barks at Puj & Houdi when they won't play with him. He barks his head off when I vaccumn. He growl barks when he's playing with his daddy. He tells me to hurry up and finish making his dinner with a short quiet bark.

Bentley has begun barking a lot!!! It's sooooooooooo loud too. It hurts my ears :( He has now decided he will bark the whole time I am preparing his dinner. He also likes to bark while in the car because he wants to sit in the front seat with everyone else. I haven't had him bark to alert me of anything yet. He seems to use it when he wants something from me. I try to ignore it because I really don't want to incourage it. He will carry on!!!

The only time Sage barks is when she sees someone walking in front of our house and if she hears something in the backyard at night. She really doesn't bark alot.
