Bentley was always talking to you, and you're not going to believe me but when ever I got home from work he used to greet me with a "hi mom".. It was spot on!
Nico, my white one always talk back when he doesn't get what he wants and loves to sound like Chubakka! It's absolutely hilarious, some of the noises he does are....there's just not words for it...

Atlas talks back all of the time. If you tell him no he will get very vocal. It is so funny you have to hide your face so he does not see you laugh. Silly boy.

it's is so funny you said that, i thought our dog was the only dog like that. brutus does not like to be laughed at, i just thought i had an insecure dog.

I'm happy to announce that Sampson just started back-talking yesterday....THere's even a little "woo woo" mixed in for good measure.

Holy crap!!! My Teutles talks back to me ALL THE TIME!!!! Now the other day he started doing something new. Barking at me at the dog park. I'm not liking that. He does love to talk though.

Kaybie is just 12 weeks and within the last week or so, she has learned to talk back. If I tell her to sit or something similar, she will do it, but then bark at me. If I tell her to stay, she will let out just one bark, as if to tell me "NO!". It's only cute for so long......but I just can't stay mad at that little smooshface! =)

Talk? We have conversations! It's crazy it's not a bark or a hawl but it like crossed between the two. It's NUTS, he usually just talks to my BF (he's the rough player) but he'll do it to me when he wants outside REALLY bad!

Back talk

Yes, Buddy gets into a really deep, long growl that ends up sounding like a howl if I shake my finger at him. It's really funny but I try not to laugh while he's watching. My mother was on the phone and thought it was someone talking to me. Now, we call it talking because he does it all the time.

Are you kidding???? Whenever Prince is told "no" and I point my finger at him I get this long, loud growl/moan sound then a bark while in the play position! I get him going more by pointing my finger at him, then he starts to woowoo at me. I always tell him "no talking back to mommy" and he gets more worked up! Such a brat!!!
