Does your boxer back talk you?

Recently, Samson's new obsession is my hair. If I have it in a ponytail, he will jump up on the couch and decide my ponytail is a tug of war toy! Of course, I tell him 'no' but if he's really hyper - he'll stop and do this high pitched whiny bark. It's almost like he has to get the last word in!

Does anyone else have a back talking boxer?

Are you kidding? Whenever I yell at Lady or do something she doesn't like she will give me this big whine and then she will make a big sigh. and just look at me like I am crazy. I catch myself telling her "don't you talk back to me young Lady!! " LOL

Calla sasses me all the time! She does this deep sigh (BF says she gets it from me) or she will do a low growl if she doesn't get her way. I tell her all the time to quit be so sassy!

I had a Rottie x that would talk back!! He would be laying on the couch and I would ask if he was comfy and I almost always got a reply.. He was a talker through and through!!! My sister has a Rottie now that is a talker and if they are late putting her to bed she gets really sassy with them..

He always talks back! He loves to do it in front of guest or other people! They always crack up as he talks back and I say "don't you talk back to me, mister" LOL. They all think I'm crazy. He definetley tries to get the last word in.

YES! Rocky always talks back to us when he's not getting his way. When he's being way too hyper we tell him to calm down and he gets down on all fours and makes the wierdest noises we've ever heard. One day in puppy training class he didn't want to sit quietly by my side while the instructor was talking and he started talking back to me, the entire class was laughing. I love it!

Gracie definitely has a sassy mouth! When she can't get what she wants and I tell her "no", she gives a sharp bark, usually finished with a woo-y growl and a mumble when I tell her not to yell at her mommy! silly girl!

brutus doesn't back talk, maybe occasionly, but hardly ever. however, my brother has an english mastiff, everytime he gets yelled at and my brother turns his back, mack (mastiff) always gets his two cents in. just when i think it can't get any more funny. my brother seriously becomes infuriated. he HATES that his dog back talks to him. i can't imagine what it will be like when he has skinbabies!!!!

okay...i know i already posted to this but i have to share....Gracie just got yelled at for bringing me the insole from my shoe while i was working on the computer...a few minutes later, she brought the other insole from the other shoe...so, again, she was told "no" and i took the insole away. well, now she is sitting under the desk, moaning at me and looking very pitiful---as if to say "geez...i bring you things and you yell at me?! i just want your attention!" guess my time on the computer is up!

Yep, mine backtalks too! He does it most when I tell him no. Then he flops down in a huff and sighs loudly. Then, to top it all off, he starts giving these pitiful looks like he is abused. As if!
