Lotion bottles
I forgot. One day Addie decided she liked the lotions so well.....she decided to chew the top of the bottle a few times. I still have a few pin holes in that bottle (you didn't think I was going to throw that great lotion away) It was bath and body works body cream, and she smelled good for a few hours after.

liked lotion..LOVED shaving creme!
Blizzy would go nuts when she smelled lotions. But even more crazy if she smelled the shaving creme. WHY I don't know but she did. My hubby would have to close the bathroom door tight when shaving or my 75lbs moose would go crashing in waiting for a blob of shaving creme to maybe hit the floor.
She loved to lick soap too. And shampoo/conditioner, baby wash and the like. I think it was the fruity smells that drew her attention..all I know is she always had a "fresh" scented breath..heehee.

Bosco LOVES lotion too!! I put it on my hands a lot and he will jump all over me until he gets a few licks in! I can't even leave lotion bottles on the counters or tables because he will jump up and get them too chew on. It's strange, but lotion is one the the few things he will steal off the tables...that and candy!

My babies love lotion! They must love the summer because people are in shorts and covered in lotion. They also love soap. I got some goats milk soap for Christmas and they tried to eat the bag it came in. I keep the soap in a cabinet now.

I believe I read another BW member say once that there are certain oils and fats in lotions and soaps that they are attracted to.
Champ loves it too, at least he thinks he does. He starts to lick, and then makes a nasty face because of the taste of the perfumes. Then he keeps trying to come back to it.

Atlas does the same thing. lick lick lick. I have to shut the door to the bathroom. If he makes it in before I close the door he will sit there and look at me like to say mom when are you going to put the lotion on. Silly boy!!

OMG, Roman drives me nuts with it! He licks the lotion off my legs while I'm trying to put it on. I usually put it on my ankle to distract him while I get lotion on my legs. Stupid, I know, but it works! I don't think it will hurt them. Surely your dog doesn't ingest that much?
