Does anyones boxer like to take a bath?

I'm Loving It...

Aramis just loves water, cold or warm (prefers warm), as for the bath he wants to jump to the tub when he see the water running.
The other day i 've walked i'm to the beach let him off leash and he run to the water for a swim, we call him 2 or three times just to get his attention, so happy he was....

Water Crazy

Isn't it funny how some of them love water and others hate it? Emma is water-crazy - hoses, sprinklers, showers and baths - all good fun. I actually had to train her to stay out of the shower when I was in it. I need to drain the tub right after a bath, or she'll jump in. She's even jumped back in just after she's gotten a bath if I don't drain it immediately, which is usually the case since I give both dogs their baths one right after the other. Now, Orlando, the GSP, hates water, and that surprised me, his being a hunting dog, but he's a rescue, so heaven knows what happened to that dog - he and two of his siblings were recovered from the woods in Central Wisconsin, starving to death. (Some jerk BYB probably couldn't sell them and didn't want to pay the surrender fees.) Anyway, he trembles all over during bath time - it's so pitiful. Two opposite personalities - Emma loves anything involving water!

Luna has been known to get in the shower with me!!! sometimes at my moms if we can't find her its because she's hanging out in the tub!!!! she also just stands there while we wash her! They are so funny!!!!!!!!

Ginger does that in her little pool when she's playing outside!!!!! It's soooo funny! She loves jumping in her pool, playing in the lake but is freaking out when it's bath time -- go figure!!!!

Rocco loves to get a bath. The other day, I was cleaning the shower/tub and he was sitting there crying looking into the tub. So into the clean tub he went I just washed his paws though. When we give him a full bath, he jumps out and he runs from one end of the bathroom to the other divebombing into the towels my husband and I have. Then he runs through the house at full speed. He also loves to drink from the bath spout!

Bubble Blowin' Boxers

Ginger does that in her little pool when she's playing outside!!!!! It's soooo funny! She loves jumping in her pool, playing in the lake but is freaking out when it's bath time -- go figure!!!!

How funny another Boxer does that - I've never seen another dog do that before. When I used to take her to the dog park, people would go into hysterics when she would do that in the river. They used to laugh at her swimming, too - her dog paddle is so choppy, she just churns the water. How odd that Ginger doesn't like baths, though, if she's like that outside! Maybe you could throw her favorite ball in the tub or a squeaky rubber ducky and see if that helps.

Emma also does what Rocco does - drinks from the tap, but loves to drink from the sink tap too when I'm brushing my teeth at night. She also gets very worked up after baths - tears around the house with the towel and absolutely torments Orlando. She also bounces on her front paws and barks at my feet. Just crazy!

Does anybody else's dog like to eat the soap? I had to get a shower caddy to get the soap where Emma couldn't reach it.
