Does anyones boxer bark at the broom??

Zeus attacks the broom, mop, lawn mower, any type of yard tool, the shovel, sprinkler, hose and the hair dryer. He also believes he needs to kill card board boxes for some reason. That just started at Christmas time. These are all awful things to have around him.

Well I guess Dragos not the only one. He loves the water hose too. The newest thing I found that makes him go nuts is a laser pointer. He will chase that thing around forever. Its great, If I dont feel like playing with him I just lay on the couch and let him chase the laser.

Saffie goes mad crazy at Brooms, Mops and anything else on a long pole...... she even worse if you lift it into the air.... she thinks it's ready for attach and does a runner!

OMG, the hose! She HATES the rain but loves the hose - go figure!

The laser pointer is a big hit in my house, too. My kids laugh hyterically when they play that with Daisy. I have to keep a close eye though because she'll knock down anything to get that red dot - anything!

Toni hates the broom. she will bark, pounce and try to bite it if I am using it. If I lean it up against the wall she will see it and stop dead in her tracks. She won't go near it. She is a crazy girl. She also hates the mop, vacuum, rug shampooer, floor cleaner, lawn mower, weed wacker, etc. I have to put her in another room while I do the house work. It is so much fun to try to do any work with her around!

Beau barks at the vaccuum and the broom. He gets down really low, barks and lunges. It's horrible because I can't get any cleaning done around him. The sad thing is that he doesn't stop when I put him in his crate. He stares them down until I put them away. I thought it would be funny to put the hose up to his mouth one night--bad idea--it scared him so badly he peed everywhere! I don't know why they do this, but it's pretty funny.

Mina attacks the broom when I start to sweep. Barking, biting and pawing it. She thinks I'm playing with her and have to sweep when she is out cold sleeping.

My Chopper barks at the vacumn too and at the hairdryer. Its so funny. I think they think your playing with them.

YES and they try to attack it too!! It is almost like a good work out for me if I can sweep effectively without letting them touch it!! crazy boxers!

Jake used to 'attack' the broom when he was younger....bark and nip at the bristles. Doesn't bother with it any more (he'll be 2 next month). But still goes nuts when I vaccuum....he will try to bite the hose, almost punctured it - so I usually put him in his crate. Also still loves the chase and grab the swiffer.
