does anyone else have a "lazy" boxer?

when rocky was young, he was so hyper and he is still very active. he LOVES to go out for a walk. our other boxer mimi, who is seven months now, gets so tired on a walk that she actually just sits down in the road as if to say "forget about it-- i am done." and these walks are not that long! we could walk rocky repeatedly and he would be ready for more, so we dont know what to think. even my husband says mimi will get tired fast from playing. he says she reminds him of his two bulldogs he had growing up--he would have to carry them home from walks because they would get pooped and refuse to walk home.

Both of mine are so lazy. They will lie about the house all morning and only come to life in the afternoon. Once out on walks or outside in the garden they are hyper.

Layla is a lazy snuggle bug. She has her energetic times when other people/dogs are around, but if its just us, she's usually found lounging on the chair in front of the window watching everyone.

No, what's that like? Just kidding. Basil is ready to go almost all the time. He is lazy on Monday's though after all the fun we have on the weekends. If you're really concerned, I would ask the vet. Maybe they can just double-check things (like cardiomyopathy) and then you'll feel better.

We take Lily on walks everyday so it isn't like she is out of shape but sometimes, on the most simplist walks, she will just sit or lay down and refuse to go on. When we finally coax her into moving, she walks in super slow motion! Sometimes I wonder if the walk is just too boring perhaps.

Also, she absoultely hates getting up early in the morning! She is much happier sleeping in and if we get her up early, she goes straight back to bed after going potty.

I have a Lazy Bones at home. He is our adopted rescue who is 3 1/2yrs old. He is 80lbs, and by no means fat, and real laid back. My female 48lbs (with SAS) on the other hand is a bundle of energy most of the time. If it wasn't for the heart problem I think she would be super hyper. The funniest thing that my Lazy Man does is he will go in their toy basket and bring a ball to you and drop it in your lap to throw for him. Well he will play fetch with you IN the house for a long time, BUT if you go in the yard and throw the same ball he looks at you like "I'm not running all the way over there to get it, no way!" He is just so funny. My husband works from home during the day and he tells me sometimes he has to coax him up to go out for a potty break. And then he says so much for potty break because all he does is sprawls out on the pool deck to catch some rays I guess. He's such a lovable lug.

Jada is non-stop. I can run her and samson the same amount of time and when there done jada is ready for more, while samson falls out on the floor or the couch.

chloe is a couch potato, if it were up to here she would sleep or just lay around all day. even going out at times is a big deal for her but go into the kitchen or get something to eat and you'll see how fast she can get up and move.

What is a lazy boxer! Tuggy goes NON-stop and only stops when he is REALLY tired, and then he will rest and then run around again.

Heidi is 4 years old now and has become much more layed back than she was a few years ago. She loves to go for walks or play in the yard, but after a little bit of running full speed and having me chase her, she will lay down. That's my sign that she's done running around! Other than that she plays with our ShihTzu constantly, but he is so little that all she does is bend down and nuzzle him with her face, and that's about all he needs to go rolling across the floor. She loves to snuggle with me on the couch..that's her favorite thing to do, I think!
