Boomer goes totally crazy with his toys. Last night I was watching tv, and all of a sudden this chewy toy comes flying through the air and hits me right in the face! Boomer is forever slinging his toys around or tossing them up in the air.

my Dartagnan is bad this way he likes his rope. I've been on the pc and all of a sudden I get this rope flung over my head and on top of the screen! and I'm always finging it behind the recliner or the couch. he just gives either the "mom where did it go" or "the get it mom, get I cant reach it"

I love that "where did it go" look too! Last night my husband chastised Boomer because he thought he was trying to eat the livingroom rug. It turned out, he was just trying to get to his chewy bone that was between the couch and chair. I got it out for him and he was a happy camper again!

YES! I don't know how many times I have been hit in the head with a toy while sitting on the couch watching TV. Just last night Pru went crazy for about 1/2 an hour with a stuffed heart squeaky toy they have. I was watching TV and seen it fly across the room. It went over the lamp on the end table and was back behind the table. She kept looking all around the table for it and wining. I got up threw it back into the middle of the floor for her and she was at it again. She was flying back and forth from the kitchen to the living room with it in her mouth. Then she would throw it and start all over again. All in all she was having tons of fun while Tyson just laid on the floor watching her run back and forth. Sheeba was in her crate, she had just drunk way too much water and it was wanting to come back up.

Zoe does this, too! She's insane sometimes. I, too, have been hit numerous times in the face by flying toys. These range from soft plush ones to ropes and kongs. Some of them really hurt. Often times they land on the cocktail table and she looks bewildered at how it got there.

If she's been inside a lot because of weather or during work, once we send her outside to play with toys, she always picks one up, burns out around the yard for ten minutes, drops the toy, picks up a new one and starts all over again. It cracks me up LOL and we just stand in the window and watch. Jake just thinks she's insane and sits on the deck out of the way. :)

Yep, Tina often throws her toys while playing - I don't mind her throwing rubber toys, but not when she turns for her bones... Oh, no! Once I had a nice blue bruce decoration on my leg after such a wierd game :D

Maggie loves to throw her toys up and around too. I know one day I'm gonna have to buy a new TV when she decides to throw one of her toys at the screen!

One of her other annoying games is to make sure daddy is watching, then scoots her ball under the couch and gives me that "I can't reach it, daddy" look, until I have to get down on my belly and fish the ball out from under the couch. Then she'll toss it around a little while, and then scoot it with her nose under the couch again and give me "the look." Of course, the advantage of this game is that when I get tired of it, the ball stays under the couch!

If she weren't so darned cute. . . . :)

my boxer is definately crazy w/ his toys. The thing that bothers me is that when he is finally tired of playing he lays down and proceeds to destroy his toys. He's like Jimi Hendrix at the end of the concert- smashing and lighting his toy on fire. Well he doesn't really use fire, but he likes to chew and pull apart his toys. We have a closet that is a toy graveyard. There are only a few toys he can't destroy. It's dissapointing because he loves a new toy, and will play for hours. Until..... total destruction. (And he is wise to the fact that I will take it away when he does this - it then becomes a mission)
