Do you wrestle with your boxer?

Of course...they need to get some of that puppy energy out. My son will lie on the floor with his hoodie pulled over his head and let the girls go after him. They love to try to get under the hood to give him lots of kisses and pull at his hair. The girls also jump on and over him all the while barking and woo wooing at him. It very cute.

Do you know what time it is?

Our boy Bruce would rather wrestle than do anything else in the world! All me or my husband have to say is "Do you know what time it is Bruce?" and he will stop what he is doing and wait for us to say "Its time to box the boxer!" Then he goes crazy! I love how vicious he sounds because its the only thing remotely mean about him is is growl/bark. If my husband is the one wrestling Bruce will jump on the couch and sit on me to keep me safe while he continues to bark and box and mouth!

Aww this post makes me smile! They're such fun dogs. I love how as soon as the wrestling is over, then they think it's time to lick you to death.

I'm a little late chiming in.... but DH and Hurricane wrestle every night after DH gets home from work. Hurricane knows that after DH unwinds and has a bite to eat that it is "his" time with DH, and boy do they go at it! Like some of the PP though, I apparently don't have wrestling DNA because even if I try to instigate it, Hurricane WILL NOT wrestle with me. The most I can get him to do is play tug of war with his rope, and even that is rare. Mamma is for snuggling in our house, daddy is for playing!

Boxing with our Boxers

My husband and I will literally box with our babies.we are not actually hitting them.Just doing the motions and they love it.Tank and Bella will stand on their hind legs and box back with their front paws.We have such a blast.We also wrestle with them constantly.We all get great pleaseure in our playtime.

Yup, we wrestle with TyTy too! I think it's halarious when he jumps from being on the floor in front of the couch over the back of the couch to "sneak" up on you from behind. He is such a character.

wrestle with our boxer

If my wife or I get down on Lucy's level....it's on. She is never rough with my wife , but it's a lot of action when I wrestle with her ( Lucy is 1 1/2 years old and 65 lbs). When we wrestle , I usually lose. When she starts to get too rough, she has an auto instinct to run to her toy box and grab a toy. Very cute.
