Thanks guys I'm starting to feel a little better about it. I knew I could count on all of you here to make sense of it. I'll wait til her vet visit to talk to her doctor then. Or do you think I should call him now?

Boxer Insane
Layla did this a few times too when she was around Cherokee's age. She outgrew if rapidly though as her muscles developed - but she still wiggles like a mad thing when she greets new people  This artice http://www.clickandtreat.com/webart105.htm has some info on this sort of thing, part of it says " Excitement urination is the result of infant muscles that simply cannot hold their urine when the pup gets excited. Rocky's behavior is partially excitement urination. He can get so excited when he sees his owner that he temporarily loses control of his bladder. The vast majority of dogs simply outgrow this problem as they become stronger and gain control of their muscles."

Completely Boxer Crazy
I don't think there's any urgency in calling the vet. It's not an unusual problem in healthy young dogs. Good luck!!!!

My husband got his first boxer from his sister because she was always so excited to see him, more than any other person. She would run to him as he walked in the door and pee on the floor in front of him all the time. When he left, she would sit at the door and cry and wait for him to come back. Finally, his sister said just take the dog, she's yours anyway, doesn't want to have anything to do with me!
:D
She outgrew the peeing when seeing him in a short time.
Also, a friend of mine has a Rottweiler that would do the same thing everytime I walked in the house. It got to the point that when I walked in, the dog would greet me and my friend would go get the resolve carpet cleaner and a sponge and hand it to me to clean up when I was done saying hello!:D
So I wouldn't worry too much. They just get so over excited.
