Yes, I do know the birthdays of my two babies, right down to the "Chinese horoscope" 
Oski is born 7 August 2000. That makes him a "Dragon Boy"
. In Chinese horoscope, to be born in the year of the Dragon is considered very lucky. Well I do think Oski has lots of luck on his side when he was "chosen" out of the thousand of dogs for we saw Oski in the "weekend market" in Bangkok.
In this market, there is a huge pet sections whereby many breeds of dogs, hundreds if not a thousand of dogs are put on sale..sometimes in very bad conditions, in very hot weather. The Saint Bernards and Chow Chows are really suffering and in one weekend, many puppies will not survive for they are just thrown into a box and be there for the whole day. Its hot, they have nothing much to eat nor water to drink ( so that they won't pee).
Anyway, we spotted oski in one of these pet stall. The stall is fully air conditioned and very clean with big crates for each of the puppies and the display table is lined with many trophies and photographs pf champion dogs they have. After a few hours of observation and the breeder presenting us the certificate from the Thailand Kennel Club, we decided that its time to give Oski a new home with lots and lots of LOve waiting for him !!!
Linda is born on 4 October 1990 and that is the year for the horse in the Chinese horoscope. Sometimes Linda does have the characteristics of a "horse" for she is independent and enjoys her freedom No wonder she sometimes get kinda upset when Oski keeps "teasing" her !

BUT I MUST SAY the highlight of her day........ is when I say COME ON OLD GIRL..... BEDTIME....... she is sooooo very happy to follow me up to bed........ Bless her...... lovicon

Nope - Babe is a rescue. We were told her age in weeks so worked it backwards from the adoption day - okay its not exact but near enough and only 3 days from my BD! 21/10/99. Do we celebrate together - nope. My 6-year-old nephew says that Babe has to have her own party and she does too!!

Boomer's birthday is February 18, 2000. And yesterday, the craziest thing happened. I went to IHOP to drop something off for my husband (who works there just as I do), and he told me there was a beautiful white boxer in someone's car in the parking lot...after talking with the gentleman, we found out that Allie (the boxer) was one of Boomer's littermates! The owner only lives a mile from us and will be bringing Allie over to play with Boomer. I can't wait to see them play together!! Think they'll remember each other?
