do you brush your dogs?

Molly gets brushed and loves it. Right now we have to bathe her once a week due to her skin condition with a medicated shampoo and then she gets combed and rolls around it is like a massage to her.

I brush when I think of it, and it signifigantly reduces shedding. I don't know what you call the brush but its essentially like a saw blade with different size teeth (not very sharp though) on each side and its in the shape of a loop mounted in a handle. Drag it against the grain of the hair and signifigant shedding control is achieved plus the dogs love the scratch it gives them.

I have a 7 yr. and 6 yr. old boxer. I have never brushed either one of them. There lucky if they get 1 bath a year. They don't shed much and hate to be brushed. Even rain on there backs bother them.

I brush Magoo every other day or so with the zoom groom. They recomended it at the grooming department at petco and I didn't think it would work but it's great!! Just do it outside because the brush does not trap the hair well but boy does it loosen it up! Magoo seems to like it, I think it's like getting a back rub.

Sirus gets brushed after every bath, which means two-four times a month. He loves it and I've come to the conclution that the brushing afterwards is the only thing that gets him in the tub in the first place!

I use a grooming stone, it works great for my boys, I found I dont have to bathe them as often since using the grooming stone.
They get it every day, they whine at the cupboard where I keep the grooming stone and let me know when it is time for the luvin.
