Do people think your weird?

Fortunately, we have found that everywhere we go with Shae, people stop to talk, pet, hug, hold, and admire so it allows us to talk even more about her!! 
Sometimes it's hard to get our errand done or our walk finished, or whatever for stopping with people so often! But we really enjoy it and of course, just like those human babies, our heads swell as we repeat all the cute things she does, over and over again!! Gotta love 'em!

Yep, They Gave Up on Me a Long Time Ago!
My friends and family just decided to accept it years ago. I guess otherwise I would be in the loony bin by now!
Once people get to know my girl, they usually see how easy it is to get obsessed!

I love my furbabies
I get frustrated when i see people with dogs chained up in their yard, or poor cats on the street looking all scraggly and dirty. I had a cat that loved to go outside but i gave him a bath once a week because he would get filthy you couldnt even tell he was an outside cat. I love my animals so much i dont even see them as animals. When you look at them its as if they are people with costumes on like their eyes dont look like and animals but like a humans. People think i am crazy to i have a few friends who love their pets and treat them like they should be treated. When you make the decision to bless your family with a furbaby you make the comitment to take care of them for the rest of their lives, this includes health checkups, exercising , eating right, pretty much what you would do with any other family member. My Mother-in law gets mad that i send out more pictures of my pup as he is growing up then our skinkids....

Yep. I especially get the odd stare when I tell co-workers that I have to go pick up "the boy" from daycare.
I go out of my way to do this to people that blabber about thier kids. I fugure I dont care about thier kids but that doesnt stop em so why should it stop me.
When Rock died a "friend" said "its only a dog". Needless to say hes no longer a friend. I honestly think about kicking his rear more than anything.

Dh thinks i'm a nut!
I always say "my babies" reffering to the dogs, or my skin kids, and he gets confused! Or i'll say something like..."a person over there needs some dinner" and he'll say "I don't see a person" and I'll say "those furry people!" DUH! They are family members to me if they have fuzz or not! he doesn't get it! :D

My husband and his family always make fun of me for saying "I read on boxerworld..." ! Luckily they are dog crazy too but I am defenitly obsessed with my boxer baby and reading all about boxers in general. Wyatt is my first boxer and the most special breed i have ever been around. And the best behaved! There is also a Jack Russel Terrier, coonhound, rhodesian ridgeback and mutt amongst my family. (I don't think they would admit it, but i think wyatt is their favorite dog of the family!)
