Do people always comment that your Boxer is cute?

I frequently get comments about how cute my girlie is. She is smaller than the average female (40 lbs full-grown), but it seems all Boxers are cuties, so I was curious to find out whether others get complements too???

Obviously, I am biased, but while I will comment to other dog owners that their dogs are cute, I truly think Boxers are cuter. They just have the most adorable looks and that, coupled with the clownish behavior, is irresistable.

YES, people always comment how cute Riley is! And, of course, I agree 110%! She's my princess and I tell a million times a day how much I love her and how beautiful she is!

People always comment on how beautiful Maggie is. The other two are white and I get a lot of strange comments such as what kind of dog is that about them. But Rider gets a lot of "cute" comments because of his eyepatch. He is a cutie (a stinker, but a cutie). Susie usually gets "ahh, how sweet" comments as she seems to be the "plain" sister. But I think Susie is very special and even if they were the ugliest dogs on the planet, I'd still think they were cute!

I always get nice comments about how cute Cisco is, and we both love it!!!! It's funny when my daughter goes to the pet store with me (she's 6 yrs) because she takes her min pin and I take Cisco. You can then tell who the little dog lovers and the big dog lovers are in the store!

Its funny. I can be out at the vet office and it seems that there are always Boxers there. They always say another Boxer? Are we having a run on Boxers today and then when us Boxer owners leave, we will run into someone in the parking lot that say`s "I use to have a Pit that looked just like that." I assume they are talking about the brindling cause Zeplin and Paige don`t look anything like a Pit.

I too am always talking with other pet owners about how cute or sweet their dogs are. I am just an animal lover and I rubber neck everytime I see someone out with their pet. Especially if it is a breed that I think I might be interested in.

I get lots of comments on how beautiful Toffee is. Of course, I think she is the most beautiful girl in the world! I also get some comments on how cute/adorable she is, and also (if the person has had a chance to spend a few minutes with Tof) on how sweet she is.

I live in TN and we most often hear, "That's a good lookin' dawg." One time we were standing at the corner and a woman stopped her truck in the intersection to tell me how handsome Buster was!

Of course I agree with every word of it. lovicon

I get the same thing

People always tell me how expressive Darien's eyes are. That and my relatives love how he patrols our yard. They drive by and he is just sitting right on the other side of our fence at full attention, just waiting for someone else to come in and play. Of course, to anyone who doesn't know him he looks a little intimidating (FedEx). But that's because they can't see his little tail wiggling like crazy as he sits there.

We get a healthy mix of comments... Strangers are about 50/50 on the subject... boxer lovers think Willis is adorable and give him lots of love. Other people who either don't like large breeds or dogs at all don't like him. For those who don't like his looks, I have learned from Willis how to have selective hearing... I just ignore it! No one can deny his goofy friendly personality though... anyone who has spend more than a minute with him comments on how sociable he is :D

As for friends and family, they all think Willis is adorable and so expressive. Except for my professor, who commented to me once that "only the english could do that do a dog's face". Not sure what he meant considering boxers are german in origin. I guess it just proves my theory that I am smarter than my prof

Yes! I love it.

Most people say that he's handsome and comment on his coat. I love hearing it cause i know it, but being his mom I'm naturally biased.

Although, a guy that i unfortunately know said to me "your dog is ugly" :eek: Vegas was only about 4 months and had the cutest smushy face, far from ugly. I was totally shocked that he was so blunt, I told him he was ugly right back and that was the end of it. Vegas doesn't bother with him and i don't blame him.
