Hello and Happy New Year!
Its dry and dusty here in Texas and our Berkley is staying
dirty. She goes outside and rolls in the dry dead grass and comes in with her white chest almost as brown as the rest of her body. Besides bathing her every day and keeping her inside all the time, do you folks have any suggestions.. If I bathe her today, by this evening or tomorrow she will be dusty again.

You know what I do? I just get a wet washcloth, and put just a little bit of soap on it... and rub him down with it. Then I wash it out and rub the little bit of soap that was on the washcloth off him. Takes about 2 minutes and they're clean!

We just wet a dish towel with hot water and rub until clean. During the summer our dogs love to go out and roll in the dirt, but this is what works best with our boxer short of giving her a real bath. Also make sure to clean their ears when you do it, so the dirt doesn't accumulate in there as well.

From what our vet has told us its not good for their fur to bath them more then once or twice a month. So since we keep baby wipes around anyways, we use them for a quick wipe down on the dogs too. We have have the "Tommy Holedigger" cologne for them.

Just for the record we are definately not bathing her every day. In fact its been a few weeks. Don't want dry skin you know.

I have a part mole-part boxer, and Baby wipes are so much easier than trying to give Magic a bath. But if your boxer is rolling in just more than dirt, there arent enough baby wipes in the world to get that smell off. Magic has a love of rolling in Horse doo-doo. :( Why i dont know??
