Completely Boxer Crazy
Yes, this is a fine deterrant. I put poo in each hole they dig (you can bury it, the noses are sensitive enough to know its there under 6 inches of soil). Now this doesn't stop them from making new holes eventually, but it does stop the holes from getting deeper and larger.Originally posted by WorkingMom
I too am the owner of an amatuer landscaper. I myself am a gardener & enjoy planting flowers, herbs, etc. I was tired of coming home to unearthed root balls that were a mere shadow of their former plant self.
I have something that works, but it sounds a little gross.
POOP! Poop people, it works.
My furkids only seem to dig if one's being ignored by the other two. Digging is a sure fire way to get the other two to play with you! :p So I also try to make sure that they have toys big enough for the 3 of them to play tug with. We use lots of tug toys on the backyard these days.
For a single dog, I would think a sand box would be a great idea!
